Awangku Mohd Nizam joined Curtin University in around July 2005, together with Sedut and co.
After 4 years, he is now heading his on way for a better life. Having huge interest in bisnes line, he experimented few food bisnes within this 4 years in Curtin himself.
Kayo kayo cafe at his house was the beginning. Varieties of nasi goreng, and the special nasi katok was the main menu, plus refillable drink. This one run at night only.
Next, burger stall at Villa in 2006. Sedut and I was directly involved with this one. We were the burger maker and seller at his stall. What an experience to remember. This one also a night time bisnes, but wheather condition affect it a lot.
After that, he tried pisang goreng in the evening with his beloved wife.
Followed next was roti canai at Saberkas. Noticing another opportunity, Abang Awang also started laksa Sarawak at the same stall. However, the bisnes plan changed again when the roti canai maker had his own dream and decided to run the biz on his own, no longer a servant of Abang Awang.
Again, he came up with a burger stall in Curtin cafeteria - sem 2 2008.
At the end, he make a big decision in his life, a life-changing decision, he is going full time bisnes now. "Sooq Restaurant" in Bintulu will be it. Bye bye Curtin.
Within this 4 years, Abang Awang sempat produce 2 children. Hehe.
