Living A Childhood Dream

Have you ever fulfilled any of your childhood dream?
How does it feel?
Do you feel how the blood flows to the whole muscle and your brain so peacefully.
It is a mind therapy, really.
It is so exciting, that you remember I how excited you were as a kid. Really.

After been inactive blogging, 4months… Lots have changed in my life…. Maybe not much, but it is a change that I can really feel.
Workin life is not that hard, not that bad. And I kinda like it quite much. Will share about the change in life in another post maybe, but will brag about living a childhood dream this time.
I recall sometimes when I was 7 to 15(or less), it such an exciting thing to see big bikes in a big group passing by abah’s car, or passing by wherever we (me and sisters/family) are…
And as a child, getting excited with what we see is incomplete without a feeling to do the same. A dream. “Angan-angan” skeptical people call. But “impian“ for those who are daring enough to put it as a goal in life. Ops, better stop, I can brag specific about this in another post itself.
So, here I am living a dream. A bikers or a rider is me now. Riding a not so big, yet too big to call small bike (kapcai we call it) to office and back everyday…. And go for ride/tour/convoy in the weekend, it just a dream comes true, literally.
I have hundreds of dreams, that I will definitely make it true – with God’s permission InsyaAllah!!
So, yea. Now I have a Kawasaki ZX2R (official name). It is more known as Ninja 250. 250 tells its cc. Ninja is the famous name since their older brother era.
Despite the small cc (below 250 actually, 249), that allows rider with B2 license to drive it, Ninja’s body kit made it look really big, superbike looks. Awesome!! And, with it’s price, very cheap for a superbike, it become a must for beginner to superbike world.
Despite Kawasaki is abah’s unfavored motor brand, but since Ninja is the only 250 in Malaysia market, so be it. For me to wait to be qualified to own a CBR600, it might take too long, so why wait when I am qualified now? And, mathematically, I only suitable for CBR600 3 years from now, well by that time I will still buy CBR, but I can still enjoy my NOW time, with this Baby Superbike!!

When I say dream come true, and the feels in it, I refer to go ride with big groups. The biggest I had so far was ride to MotoGP 2010, organized by Kawasaki, so all models were there. 300 bikes involved. From Titiwangsa to Sepang, 2 lane formation, all junctions blocked, the feeling while riding was superb! The pride…. It just not explainable.

That ride was the moment I realize, I AM LIVING MY CHILDHOOD DREAM. Yes I am. That was the moment I feel the pure adrenaline, a blissful one, bursting into my every living cells.
I now know, this is it. This is one the things that I dreamt when I was so young, so innocent, when all the WANTS are pure from heart, no bad intention what so ever. It is a sincere want, admiration, nothing to do with lust nor other hidden agenda.

And I remember what have I experienced since riding my sportbike, even from my first ever convoy, just 5 bikes, for balik raya trip. Even at 80kph, when bumped with family car on the highway, the kids wave at us… the feeling is just soooo beautiful…. It recalls the childhood memory when I did the same. Undescribable.

Noticing that, made me believe, with a little courage, mix with some commitment, whatever my dream is, is possible. Very possible. And actually it is not that hard, quite simple, easy. All you have to do, is just DO. Really, simple as that.

Since 2003, I was lucky to meet people who believe in grabbing the dreams. That kept me the strong believe too. But, I would say here, once you commit, you will see miracle.

I am lucky to be able to make a brave decision, after just 2 months working, to commit to buy bike, which not many people support the idea, where they “rational”ly think that I better buy an affordable car (MyVi as example) which I DON’T WANT. Why should I buy and use something I don’t want, and not even desperately needed. From that one big decision, sufficient effort were put, and that’s it, it comes real, despite some hiccups in the process(why worry, there’s always challenge to get anything isn’t it?).
And ever since owning it, boring is not a usual word to me anymore.

I am enjoying this dream in the awaken life, not sleeping. This is really something. I believe it is something to everyone, when you can live in your dream in real life. Whatever your dream is.

Adios. Good luck!!
