14th clean sheet for Van Der Saar.
Fresh faces from the FA match.
Now United are level with others in term of games played.
5 points clear at the top, to 2nd spot Liverpool.
Again, the Devils taught their opponent how to play football.
Ratings
Van der Saar
Was not threaten much in his goal. plus defenders did really well to clear all the attacks. Celebrate his 14th clean sheet well. He had one shot wide his post near the end of game, he even raised his eyebrows to the crowds with a cheeky smile.
John O Shea
He played as right back this time. Where is Neville and Rafael is a good question. It's probably another rotating system by Ferguson.
Ferdinand
Got his partnership with Vidic back. Made a lot of clearance and cutting the attacks. Well done!
Vidic
Good as ever. Back into action after a rest on the weekend.
Evra
Had he missed any matches before? He did excellent, both defend and attack.
Ronaldo
Started on the right. Few dangerous cross. Few free-kick-cross that went to Devils header. But, Beckham is still best at doing cross, no doubt. 2nd half he played left wing, swapped with Park. He got more shooting apportunities, but none really went dangerous.
Scholes
Great play!!! He's in for Giggs role this time I guess. And he's United's long shot master. first timer shot went wild to the goalkeeper - he couldn't handle it. 2nd shot was even more beautiful, but unlucky in went to an easier side for the goalkeeper.
Carrick
Brilliant play. The usual him.
Park Ji Sung
I couldn't distinguish him and Tevez from far. Hardworking like always.
Tevez
Busy like usual. But he'd lost his scoring sharpness.
Berbatov
Smart play. Looked active. Deserved the goal(maybe more).
Rooney(sub Tevez)
He got 30minutes to play. But he doesn't need that much. 2 minutes on the pitch, and actually his first touch of the ball met the net immediately. Great!!
Evans(sub O Shea)
Not usual spot for him. But he showed no awkwardness.
Gibson(sub Carrick)
He's blended very well with the team. I would like to see more appearance from him after this.
