Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd (EPL)

Venue : Upton Park
Date : 8 February

Score

Man Utd 1
Giggs

West Ham 0

Tight match!!!

Even though the Devils had more possession of the ball, but every time West Ham get the ball, they were always dangerous.
That has forced Van der Saar to make few saves in order for him to claim a British record. Yes! British record. He is now the goalkeeper that had not conceded any goal for the longest minutes and matches in any country in Great Britain.. 13 league matches of clean sheet. The last time he conceded goal was when Arsenal's Samir Nasri scored twice in Emyrates Stadium, also the match that saw young Rafael scored incredible volley - in November.

Other than heroic 38 years ols goalie, 2 more veterans showed their experience as the key to the success.

Scholes' long pass from central right of the field, met Giggs in the edge penalty box just for a defender foolly miss-slided Giggs' trick, and another fake shot to another defender. The next move then was an accurate placing shot using right-foot. Yes, right one, it's rare but accurate it was.

Rating
Van der Saar
Great saves. He deserves the record.

Rafael
He is back in action. Just in time when Neville is not available.

Rio Ferdinand
Controlling the central defend well

Vidic
He lost his shine when Ferdinand is around as Rio outshined him. But, still no mistake from Vidic.

John O Shea
He did OK on the left.

Giggs
He started at the right. But as usual, United's attack never stick to one position.

Carrick
He's been very outstanding lately, no exception for this match.

Scholes
Age did not affect his performance.

Ronaldo
He still trying to get back to the glorious-2008-Ronaldo. OK.

Berbatov
He is extremely hardworking this time. Great job!! He has improved 200% for that. Pressuring the keeper, defender. PLus his calmness with the ball, what else can we say?

Tevez
When Berbatov is now become wardworking like he used to, Tevez also doubled his work rate. Wow!! Can you imagine the busy Tevez become busier? Haha.

Park (sub Tevez)
too late to touch the ball. Haha.

With this win, United is back at the top again. 2nd Liverpool, 2 points away. 3rd Aston Villa (?? Yes.) 4th Chelsea. 5th Arsenal.
