It was a really tight and entertaining match. United was very dominant in the first half, but things went very balanced after the second half.

Alex Ferguson came out with an awkward line-up, which was meant for defensive style of play.

Most of Inter's shot went wild high up. There wasn't any real saves he needed to make.

John O Shea
Despite rated to be doubtful to play because of injury, he started at the right back. He did well to stop the wing from making any real cross.

Rio Ferdinand
Solid at the center, made no mistake.

Johny Evans
Another injury worry that was reported not involved in any training in Milan, he started in this high reputation match. He did OK. Some mistakes but didn't cost United any problem.

Patrice Evra
Played at the left back, he provided attacking spice especially in the first half.

Darren Fletcher
Defensive midfielder. The strategy worked as Inter did not get any chance to make clear shot. However, Fletcher's game ruined a bit in the 2nd half and I was expecting him to be sub.

Christiano Ronaldo
Played attacking right wing. He had so many free kicks that didn't really happen. After all he played beautifully.

Ryan Giggs
The captain played very well in the center and he had few chances on goal himself. But I guess he is too old for the shooting scene.

Micheal Carrick
He played well alongside Giggsy, but United's center has already too crowded for him to make his majestic passes.

Park Ji-Sung
He was very busy(he covered 9.99km after about 75 minutes of play). He did well, but seems less effective.

Dimitar Berbatov
He played as the lone striker. He didn't get enough ball feeded to him.

Wayne Rooney (sub Park)
He got in a little too late for the goal.

Rafael da Silve(not in)
Everyone was expecting him to start because of the injury concern in the United's camp. However, he only managed to have a warm up at the line in the great stadium.

Other incident was Figo(not playing) awarded yellow card by the referee in the first half.
Julio Cesar had to make few saves from United's attack.
Ibrahimovic and Adriano didn't get the space they needed to trouble United.
