Lobster Bintulu

A trip to Bintulu.
Pergi - jumaat. Arrive Bintulu 415pm.
Dengan Zahin lepas makan.

Lepas makan-makan kat rumah Abang Awang, keluar pusing2 Kg. Baru.
Sempat singgah rumah Man, tapi jumpa bapak dia je. Man tengah ronda dengan Honda S2000 baru dia.
Pergi ke kawasan perkampungan tepi sungai, ada lobster dijual dengan harga RM35 sekilo.
Kedai kedua, seekor lobster yang baru dinaikkan dibuka untuk dijual.Fresh Lobster

Kitorang terus menyerbu dan ambik gambar, dan pakcik penjual tu pun sempat show off.
Pakcik dan lobsternya - sebelum jadi kami punya

Timbang, sekilo setengah. Kitorang beli dengan RM40.

Round2 bandar Bintulu. Gi pasar malam. Balik rumah dan bergambar lagi sebelum lobster tu masuk fridge.

Malam lepak2 rumah sebelum keluar.

Sedut mendodoikan Zahin...(??)

Man datang, pastu kitorang keluar lepak minum2 dengan Man. Sambil layan shisha. Restorannya,
Ye, Sedut sangat happy dengan nama kedai ni walaupun sudahnya dia emo dengan budak2 meja sebelah. Haha.

Benjamin Button

Cinema : TGV KLCC
Date : 20 Feb 2009, 11:55pm
Partner : Za

A classic style of movie. More of a flash-back type of movie.
Main scene was actually in a hospital, hurricane is about to pass by the hospital, an old lady accompanied by her daughter, and she asked her to read a diary.
The diary was written by a guy named Benjamin by his adopted mom.
There was also a scene took place during the end World War, where a new huge clock was launched, and the clock moved backward. Aha.

This story was obviously a biography of a man named Benjamin, from Button family.

Benjamin was born physically old.
His size was baby size, but his skin is very berkedut, and all the features of old person. Very old indeed.
His mom dead right after that. So his father, a rich button bussinessman, leave him at a house. It happen to be that the house was kind of rumah kebajikan. So, a noble black woman with pure heart take him eventhough her husband didn't want the baby. She later named her Benjamin.
As he grew up (??), he gained the height, but he really looked like 70 years old when he was just 3. So many things happened that time, like he tried to learn how to walk and stuff like that.
When he was around 10, he met a young girl, and they seems to like each other, even Benjamin still look like 50 years old guy.
Things never gone bad for Benjamin as he gained youth in his physical.
He then joined to work as a sailor.
Things between Benjamin and the girl also went on and off.
Cut it short, Benjamin went for a long trip, involved in war, plus fall in love with someone's wife, and he even told that to the girl I mention before which actually broke her heart.
Benjamin came back home, very young.
His father came to him and story the whole thing.
His father died, and left all the properties to him.
The girl also grown up, and became a famous dancer, had her own life - including love life.
Things gone to Benjamin's way again when she got knocked by a car, and cannot dance anymore. They unite again.
They are going to have a baby. Benjamin worried, because he is now got very young, he look like in the early 20s. The concern was when the baby become teenage, he'll be about the same age or even younger than that. It will be hard to handle, plus the baby need a real father. Benjamin ran away.
He came back at around 15years old.
After that, he stayed at his old-house(the rumah kebajikan), and his 'wife' took care of him until he died as a baby.

The ending scene, Benjamin's daughter noticed that she met his father once, and they looked at similar age.

It is a different movie. Not stereotype, at his own class. COOL.

Geng - Upin & Ipin

Cinema : GSC Mid Valley
Date : 21 Feb 09
Time : 3pm
Partner : Adinda

Nice animation movie, it is Malaysian made. Cool!!
Story line take place in kampong area, musim durian.
2 young man from town balik kampong to enjoy the durian.
Di kampung already kecoh with 'hantu durian' sebab even byk durian gugur, to byk jugak yg dah dimakan. So, the misteri behind it was 'who eat them?'.

Ipin & Upin plus Rajoo also terlibat with the advanture. Tak ketinggalan Kak Ros yang cantik. Haha.
How they got involve? Rajoo disuruh oleh atuk untuk tunjuk jalan ke dusun. Ipin dan Upin always watak kanak2 hyper yang sebok je nak follow atau nak tahu. Kak Ros is the twin's protector, so she got involve when she tried to bring them back.

OK. First in the jungle, bila diorang nak ambik durian, diorang jumpa this small cute creature yang curi the durian. What creature? It doesn't exist in real world. Haha.
Bila diroang dok kejar binatang tu, Ipin Upin Rajoo berjaya tangkap. And memandangkan Rajoo boleh ckp dgn haiwan, so nama creature tu Opeet.

So they all thought the creature was the hantu. Misteri solved! Actually not, because just after that ada huge scary creature, mcm rangka lembu boleh berjalan, muncul. So that is the hantu. Another advanture started when they are being chased by the hantu, plus they had to face some freaky insect plus a mad snake in a cave. Haha.

Then we found out that the creature came from another dimension, where the gate to it was in the cave. And the hantu was some greedy Pak Mail and co (Including Sally bapok). At the end, Pak Mail and Singh termasuk dalam dimensi purple tu, dan menikmati kehidupan di sana. Haha.

Opeetjumpa balik dgn mak dia. Everyone unite back. Some sengal part came out at the end of the movie also.

Urmmm... That's it!!
A must watch movie!!

A Story of Mr Awang in Curtin Uni Miri

Awangku Mohd Nizam joined Curtin University in around July 2005, together with Sedut and co.

After 4 years, he is now heading his on way for a better life. Having huge interest in bisnes line, he experimented few food bisnes within this 4 years in Curtin himself.

Kayo kayo cafe at his house was the beginning. Varieties of nasi goreng, and the special nasi katok was the main menu, plus refillable drink. This one run at night only.

Next, burger stall at Villa in 2006. Sedut and I was directly involved with this one. We were the burger maker and seller at his stall. What an experience to remember. This one also a night time bisnes, but wheather condition affect it a lot.

After that, he tried pisang goreng in the evening with his beloved wife.

Followed next was roti canai at Saberkas. Noticing another opportunity, Abang Awang also started laksa Sarawak at the same stall. However, the bisnes plan changed again when the roti canai maker had his own dream and decided to run the biz on his own, no longer a servant of Abang Awang.

Again, he came up with a burger stall in Curtin cafeteria - sem 2 2008.

At the end, he make a big decision in his life, a life-changing decision, he is going full time bisnes now. "Sooq Restaurant" in Bintulu will be it. Bye bye Curtin.

Within this 4 years, Abang Awang sempat produce 2 children. Hehe.

Good Luck bro!!

Man Utd v Inter Milan (Champions League, 1st leg)

Venue : San Siro
Date : 24th March 2009

Score
Man Utd 0
Inter Milan 0

It was a really tight and entertaining match. United was very dominant in the first half, but things went very balanced after the second half.

Alex Ferguson came out with an awkward line-up, which was meant for defensive style of play.

Rating:
Van der Saar
Most of Inter's shot went wild high up. There wasn't any real saves he needed to make.

John O Shea
Despite rated to be doubtful to play because of injury, he started at the right back. He did well to stop the wing from making any real cross.

Rio Ferdinand
Solid at the center, made no mistake.

Johny Evans
Another injury worry that was reported not involved in any training in Milan, he started in this high reputation match. He did OK. Some mistakes but didn't cost United any problem.

Patrice Evra
Played at the left back, he provided attacking spice especially in the first half.

Darren Fletcher
Defensive midfielder. The strategy worked as Inter did not get any chance to make clear shot. However, Fletcher's game ruined a bit in the 2nd half and I was expecting him to be sub.

Christiano Ronaldo
Played attacking right wing. He had so many free kicks that didn't really happen. After all he played beautifully.

Ryan Giggs
The captain played very well in the center and he had few chances on goal himself. But I guess he is too old for the shooting scene.

Micheal Carrick
He played well alongside Giggsy, but United's center has already too crowded for him to make his majestic passes.

Park Ji-Sung
He was very busy(he covered 9.99km after about 75 minutes of play). He did well, but seems less effective.

Dimitar Berbatov
He played as the lone striker. He didn't get enough ball feeded to him.

Wayne Rooney (sub Park)
He got in a little too late for the goal.

Rafael da Silve(not in)
Everyone was expecting him to start because of the injury concern in the United's camp. However, he only managed to have a warm up at the line in the great stadium.

Other incident was Figo(not playing) awarded yellow card by the referee in the first half.
Julio Cesar had to make few saves from United's attack.
Ibrahimovic and Adriano didn't get the space they needed to trouble United.

Man Utd vs Fulham (EPL)

Stadium : Old Trafford
Date : 18 feb 2009

Score
Manchester United 3
Scholes
Berbatov
Rooney

Fulham 0

14th clean sheet for Van Der Saar.
Fresh faces from the FA match.
Now United are level with others in term of games played.
5 points clear at the top, to 2nd spot Liverpool.
Again, the Devils taught their opponent how to play football.

Ratings
Van der Saar
Was not threaten much in his goal. plus defenders did really well to clear all the attacks. Celebrate his 14th clean sheet well. He had one shot wide his post near the end of game, he even raised his eyebrows to the crowds with a cheeky smile.

John O Shea
He played as right back this time. Where is Neville and Rafael is a good question. It's probably another rotating system by Ferguson.

Ferdinand
Got his partnership with Vidic back. Made a lot of clearance and cutting the attacks. Well done!

Vidic
Good as ever. Back into action after a rest on the weekend.

Evra
Had he missed any matches before? He did excellent, both defend and attack.

Ronaldo
Started on the right. Few dangerous cross. Few free-kick-cross that went to Devils header. But, Beckham is still best at doing cross, no doubt. 2nd half he played left wing, swapped with Park. He got more shooting apportunities, but none really went dangerous.

Scholes
Great play!!! He's in for Giggs role this time I guess. And he's United's long shot master. first timer shot went wild to the goalkeeper - he couldn't handle it. 2nd shot was even more beautiful, but unlucky in went to an easier side for the goalkeeper.

Carrick
Brilliant play. The usual him.

Park Ji Sung
I couldn't distinguish him and Tevez from far. Hardworking like always.

Tevez
Busy like usual. But he'd lost his scoring sharpness.

Berbatov
Smart play. Looked active. Deserved the goal(maybe more).

Rooney(sub Tevez)
He got 30minutes to play. But he doesn't need that much. 2 minutes on the pitch, and actually his first touch of the ball met the net immediately. Great!!

Evans(sub O Shea)
Not usual spot for him. But he showed no awkwardness.

Gibson(sub Carrick)
He's blended very well with the team. I would like to see more appearance from him after this.

Derby vs Man Utd (FA Cup)

Stadium : Derby home
Date : 15Feb 2009

Score
Manchester United 4
Nani
Gibson
Ronaldo
Welbeck

Derby 1
Adnilson

This was an easy game for the Devils. And they looked easy. Ferguson took it easily. Everyone was happy.

The line-up was far from first 11 squad. Foster, Evans, Gibson started. Formation at the beginning was 4-6-0. Haha. No real striker started.

There were few dubious off-side awarded, but it did not affect United's game after all.

Rating

Ben Foster
He did fine. Few saves. The 1 goal was real goal, not his mistake. Did not look confident, but OK.

Rafael
He's back and looked very lively. This boy is magnificient.

Ferdinand
He's back too, but combination with Evans looked awkward. Sometimes they are at the same spot.

Evans
He's good as usual. Need to work with Ferdinand's style more.

Evra
Another come back from injury. He's not fit yet. But he's fine, played well.

Park Ji-Sung
Unlucky did not score. Played on the right wing, he's just average.

Fletcher
He did good.

Gibson
Got his favorite position and looked comfortable. As a young player, he did very good job this time. And he deserved the goal. And he would have scored more too.

Nani
He played well on the left. The goal was a real poacher. GOOD!!

Giggs
Not really suitable as striker. Spotted more in the middle. Other than that he played well.

Ronaldo
FIFA Best Player? He lost all the balls he had in the first 15 minutes. After that he was fine. He took this game too lightly I guess, that's the reason. His goal was pro!!!

Welbeck(sub Park)
The Finisher. That his title. He came in and changed the positioning. Gigss or ROnaldo moved to the side. Welbeck as main striker. Good game. Brilliant goal!!

O Shea (sub Evra)
Good decision by Fergie, Evra need to rest. But O Shea destroyed the game. Conceding the goal. But after that he recovered well.

Possebon(sub Ronaldo)
He did OK. Average. Not ready for big match yet.

After all, it was an easy game for United. And the impossible dream is still possible. Quadraple they are going.

Gosip - Ally dan Elyana

Tadi tengok program Ally.

Kwang kwang kwang...

Soalannya:
Dengar cerita Ally bercinta dengan Elyana. Media pun dah heboh. Apa komen?

Ally terpana seketika. Lepas tu dia cuba untuk KONA supaya dia tak payah jawab soalan tu. Sudahnya, soalan 3 dijawab dahulu. Haha. Bravo tukang tanya!!!

Tup tup pulak, belum sempat habis jawab pasal Elyana, Ally diarahkan bagu ruang untuk satu klip.
Jeng jeng jeng!!
Elyana yang ditemubual. Ditanya, macammana kalau dia dengan Ally JADI?

Macam biasalah jawapan artis, kalau dah jodoh ON je. Haha. Bes bes. Melepas aku!!

Pastu Elyana siap sound, kalau lelaki dah suka sorang pompuan, better cepat-cepat buat move. Kalau lambat takut nanti kena kebas kata Elyana dengan penuh nakal. Haha.

Abis klip tu, Jue pulak buat-buat merajuk dah nak balik katanya. Haha. Makin happening. Kononnya Jue pun berangan nak tackle Ally la tu??

Selepas part tu, banyak la cakap-cakap antara mereka yang balik-balik Ally-Elyana-Jue. Haha.

Lagi best, Ally nak kata Jue, tersebut Elyana. Tersasul sampai macam tu sekali. Ape kes Ally ni? Jue terus bangun buat buat nak balik tuh. Haha.

Aku suka tengok program yang rungan-ringan canni. Senang. Tak pening kepala nak fikir ape-ape.

O well.
Ally dah terkantoi, tak ternafi dah.
Elyana pulak macam layaan je.
Jue?? Cuba la nasib, boleh jer. Haha.

p/s:
dinda aku kata aku ada sikit mcm Ally.
ex aku pulak mcm Jue.
Sape macam Elyana?? haha.

Evergreen Giggs Off the Mark

still tough for a 35-year-old

Ryan Giggs couldn't have picked a better way to break his league duck for season 2008/09, with his goal giving United maximum points at Upton Park.

The Welshman's rare right-footed strike means he's now netted in all seventeen Premier League campaigns so far. His previous league strike was in the title-clinching win at Wigan at the end of last season - his goal at West Ham could prove to be just as important.

"I'm just glad to have scored the winning goal," said Ryan, before joking: "I get a right-footer and a header every season so hopefully there's a header still to come!"

Ryan's team-mate Edwin van der Sar was more descriptive when asked about the 62nd-minute winner on MUTV.

"We're very grateful that Ryan got a great goal," said Edwin. "He came in from the left, two defenders slid in and he beat them both before a great finish with his right foot."

Van der Sar went on to praise the longevity of the Reds' record appearance-maker.

"Ryan probably doesn't play as many games as he wants to but every time he comes in he does a job," added Edwin.

"No, he does more than that... he keeps putting in performances as if he was still 24 or 25. It's a joy to play with him although I'm a little bit further back so I don't really benefit from his one-twos and his crosses! But from a distance, he's great to watch."

Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd (EPL)

Venue : Upton Park
Date : 8 February

Score

Man Utd 1
Giggs

West Ham 0

Tight match!!!

Even though the Devils had more possession of the ball, but every time West Ham get the ball, they were always dangerous.
That has forced Van der Saar to make few saves in order for him to claim a British record. Yes! British record. He is now the goalkeeper that had not conceded any goal for the longest minutes and matches in any country in Great Britain.. 13 league matches of clean sheet. The last time he conceded goal was when Arsenal's Samir Nasri scored twice in Emyrates Stadium, also the match that saw young Rafael scored incredible volley - in November.

Other than heroic 38 years ols goalie, 2 more veterans showed their experience as the key to the success.

Scholes' long pass from central right of the field, met Giggs in the edge penalty box just for a defender foolly miss-slided Giggs' trick, and another fake shot to another defender. The next move then was an accurate placing shot using right-foot. Yes, right one, it's rare but accurate it was.

Rating
Van der Saar
Great saves. He deserves the record.

Rafael
He is back in action. Just in time when Neville is not available.

Rio Ferdinand
Controlling the central defend well

Vidic
He lost his shine when Ferdinand is around as Rio outshined him. But, still no mistake from Vidic.

John O Shea
He did OK on the left.

Giggs
He started at the right. But as usual, United's attack never stick to one position.

Carrick
He's been very outstanding lately, no exception for this match.

Scholes
Age did not affect his performance.

Ronaldo
He still trying to get back to the glorious-2008-Ronaldo. OK.

Berbatov
He is extremely hardworking this time. Great job!! He has improved 200% for that. Pressuring the keeper, defender. PLus his calmness with the ball, what else can we say?

Tevez
When Berbatov is now become wardworking like he used to, Tevez also doubled his work rate. Wow!! Can you imagine the busy Tevez become busier? Haha.

Park (sub Tevez)
too late to touch the ball. Haha.

With this win, United is back at the top again. 2nd Liverpool, 2 points away. 3rd Aston Villa (?? Yes.) 4th Chelsea. 5th Arsenal.

MU Icon #1 - Alex Ferguson

TV presenter and diehard Red, Eamonn Holmes, pays tribute to the boss, the man behind the success...

Sir Alex is a man who inspires people to follow him. He’s like a religious leader: wherever he goes he spreads the Red gospel, and he’s the man you want leading you when the chips are down. At the Battle of El-Alamein you had Montgomery; during the Second World War there was Churchill; and at Old Trafford we have Sir Alex. He has the gall, the strength and the steel to stand up to anybody and anything in any onslaught; he is our Braveheart.

He’s also a winner, and one who gets results by playing attractive football. He’s nurtured talent and made fantastic signings over the years, but to be able to combine a winning ethos with flair is an incredible skill and, in my opinion, his greatest achievement. Some managers can win, others can play attractive football, few can put it together as one package. To do that he’s had to make some difficult decisions over the years, and at times has had to be ruthless. He dropped Jim Leighton for the 1990 FA Cup final replay, while Bryan Robson missed out in ’94 and Steve Bruce sat out the ’96 final. It must be very difficult to tell someone who’s been such a great servant that they’re not playing or tell them their time is up at United. But it’s a necessity if you’re going to manage successfully at the highest level.

It’s amazing to think he’s been here more than 22 years, and the success he’s brought us is unprecedented. I often say it’s like being in television – getting the job is hard, but staying there is much harder. Often greatness is judged on longevity rather than peaks, and he scores on all fronts in that sense.

I was working in Manchester when he joined the club in 1986. I knew he’d done well at Aberdeen, but like every United fan, I wondered if he could do the business at Old Trafford. He had a tricky couple of years to begin with, but after the 1990 FA Cup win the Fergie juggernaut rolled on. You could tell from the start that he understood the duties and responsibilities that go with managing this great club, and he’s always been fantastic with the fans. He knows what it’s like to be a Manchester United fan because he is one – you can see the passion he has for the club. He’s therefore very attentive to what the supporters say and how they feel. As a fan, his unwavering enthusiasm for the game and desire to win is something I have always admired. You can see how much he hates losing – winning is everything to him, it hits him hard when he doesn’t win. He feels it like the fans do. To have maintained that appetite for success for so long is staggering. I really do despair about what we are going to do when he decides he’s had enough – it’s not a day I’m looking forward to.

As well as the many ups, there has been the odd down, but Sir Alex is the master when it comes to responding to adversity. He’s always talked about the importance of bouncing back positively to either a shock defeat or elimination from a competition. And not only is the boss a great tactician and motivator, he’s one of the game’s great characters. You can say what you want about him, but he’s certainly not dull. He has a great sense of mischief and I love the ability he has to wind up other managers. At the same time he’s someone who always has time for people, from players to opposition managers to fans. If he can do you a good turn, he won’t hesitate in trying to help.

I’ve been lucky enough to play in one of his teams – the two of us paired up for a special charity episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? [in December 2004], which was a real thrill for me. He loves quizzes and is extremely knowledgeable, and we left with £32,000. We were both desperate to get a million, but ended up using all our lifelines on the £64,000 question!

He’s an unbelievable man and unquestionably the best football manager that there has ever been – we’re just so blessed that he’s ours.

MU Icon #2 - Eric Cantona

Everyone’s favourite Frenchman waltzed in from Leeds and transformed the club. Here to remind us of his impact, is songster Pete Boyle…

I had idols before Eric, but none were as cool. He was a real superstar – but you’d often see him out and about in Manchester. I remember seeing him in the pub when he’d injured his wrist and was ruled out of a game against QPR. He was playing table football with his mates, but he was always approachable.

We discussed art and music, and unlike many other players of that generation he seemed to embrace the music scene of Manchester, which really struck a chord with me – especially when you used to read that the likes of Lee Sharpe listened to TLC! And I’ve met a lot of players, but few made me buzz like Eric. It’s probably only Sir Alex that has that aura. I’d be feeling like broken biscuits around him, and it’s not often I’m speechless! The first ‘special moment’ on the pitch came before he’d even signed for United. He scored a belter for Leeds at Old Trafford and you knew then he had something about him that set him apart. When he signed I was buzzing.

He was popular with fans pretty quickly, but I remember thinking the moment that really started our relationship with Eric came against Sheffield Wednesday in December 1994. We’d been three down and he poked home the equaliser late on to make it 3-3. It wasn’t a great goal, but it meant a great deal to our title hopes and it was a great Cantona moment, the first of many. Remember him hitting the bar at Stamford Bridge from the halfway line in September 1994? After that game I penned the last few choruses to Eric the King. A select few were trying it out in a pub in Whitechapel after the match, but it was really born on the terraces in Honved in the game that followed.

So many of his goals stand out. The volley at Wimbledon, the chips against Sunderland and Sheffield United… But the one that really sticks in my mind is the goal against Liverpool in the 1996 FA Cup final. He could have scored a toe-poke and it would be up there. It wasn’t about the goal (although he did shuffle his body well), it was about winning a Double Double against a side who could've won more Doubles themselves, but didn’t. It meant so much beating Liverpool in that game.

Eric came in for criticism in his last season. Some fans suggested he wasn’t up to his usual standards. But I think he’d had such a good campaign in 1995/96 that it would have been impossible to play that well again, something Ronaldo may find this year. I admire Eric for walking away when he did. People talk about him coming back, but if he doesn’t we’ll always have our memories.

MU Icon #3 - Roy Keane

Robbo’s exit left a hole in midfield. But as Paddy Crerand explains, that commitment, energy and ferocity was quickly replaced…

What can you say about Roy Keane? What a captain and what a player for Manchester United. Not only did he have great technical ability, he also had an unbelievable will to win. His mental attitude to the game was incredible – he was completely fixated on winning matches, and that got through to everyone else and had a positive effect on the team.

I still remember when we signed him, in the summer of 1993. It was a record fee at the time and I know a lot of United supporters were excited by his arrival, but you couldn’t have imagined the impact he was going to have. Not long after he joined I was in Dublin at a Football Hall of Fame event with Sir Alex, and he introduced me to Roy’s family who were in our hotel. They were all huge United fans, particularly his father Maurice, and I got to know them very well after that.

Roy became a fans’ favourite almost immediately, after scoring twice on his home debut against Sheffield United, and even early on in his United career he looked like real captain material. He eventually took the armband after Eric Cantona’s retirement in 1997, and went on to become one of the club’s greatest ever leaders. He sweated blood for the club, never more so than in the Champions League semi-final second leg, away at Juventus, in April 1999.

Roy played so many magnificent games for the club, but that night will always stand out as his best – it’s an iconic moment in United’s history. Juve went 2-0 up in the first 10 minutes, but Roy dragged us back into it. Not only did he score our first goal with a fine header, he went on a one-man mission to get us to the final even though he knew he’d be suspended. It was an unbelievable performance.

As well as being an inspirational leader, Roy was also a brave and courageous captain who would stick up for his team-mates no matter what. His midfield battles with Patrick Vieira were fantastic to watch, and I’ll never forget his confrontation with the Arsenal skipper in the tunnel before a game at Highbury when Roy stuck up for Gary Neville. I think he frightened the life out of Vieira!

I would put Roy alongside Cantona and Bryan Robson as the most influential players during Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign: he will definitely go down in the club’s history as one of its greatest ever servants.

MU Icon #4 - Ryan Giggsy

Inside United's icons countdown continues. In fourth place is Ryan Giggs; and Sir Bobby Charlton takes us from the first time he saw Giggsy in action to the day the Welshman equalled his appearance record...

What a player! I first saw Ryan when he was 15 when Alex Ferguson had asked me to come and watch some trials during the school holidays. When I arrived there were about 10 matches going on, and as I was making my way over to see the boss, I noticed this skinny kid zipping past defenders. He went right through the team and had a fantastic shot on goal. I thought: ‘Wow, that was sensational!’

When I reached Alex I asked him who the little lad was and he said: ‘That’s Ryan Wilson: he signed for us this morning.’ You could tell, even then, that there was something magical about the way he played the game.

Ever since that day Ryan’s been a fantastic ambassador for this club. We’ve never had an ounce of trouble from him. He’s brilliant to work with and you won’t hear anyone with a bad word about him. More importantly, he’s a fantastic footballer. In fact, he’s one of the most gifted footballers to ever play at Old Trafford.

In his prime, his pace was sensational – the only way defenders could stop him was to bring him down. These days he’s not quite so quick, but his awareness and footballing brain is second to none. He’s also good in the air, something not everyone realises.

He’s been terrific over the years – an absolute gem – and it’s no wonder United fans love him. The way he’s playing at the moment, we could easily see him for a few more years. The manager has been very smart in the way he’s used him this season, he knows exactly how and when to rest him. But when he’s on that pitch, he never lets you down.

Like most fans, my favourite Giggs memory is the goal he scored against Arsenal in the FA Cup in 1999. He went on this mazy run and people kept coming, but he kept evading them. Then, of course, he thumped the ball into the roof of the net. I jumped out of my seat, and I remember some fans went on the pitch. I don’t blame them: I’d have done the same if I’d have been in the stands! It was a cracking end to a wonderful football match.

As everyone knows, Ryan broke my club appearance record at the end of last season. To be honest, it didn’t bother me one bit. I never counted every game I played, I just know I played here for a long time and loved every minute. I think that’s why Ryan has played so many games here – he loves being at this club. It’s a great place to play… once you’ve been here you don’t want to play anywhere else.

MU Icon #5 - Ole Gunnar Solskjear

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was voted fifth greatest icon of the Inside United era (1992 -2009) by the magazine's editorial staff. Who better to sing the Norwegian's praises than the other man who put the ball in the Germans' net in '99, Teddy Sheringham...

When I first met Ole I remember thinking the 'Baby-faced assassin' nickname was perfect. He didn’t look old enough to be a professional footballer! But there he was, banging in the goals for United. You didn’t expect such talent from such a young looking lad.

When it comes to talent, Ole was definitely one of the best all-round finishers I’ve ever played with. That’s no mean feat either: I’m including strikers like Jurgen Klinsmann and Alan Shearer in that equation. Certainly, in terms of shooting with both feet, ability in the air and putting the ball exactly where he wanted it to go, Ole was up there with the very, very best.

I can’t stress enough just how good Ole’s finishing was - it was a joy to watch in training. He was real perfectionist, too, and spent hours practising. Even when he scored he wouldn’t celebrate a goal with quite as much passion if the ball hadn’t gone exactly where he’d planned. Most strikers don’t care how the ball goes in, but if Ole scuffed one instead of hitting it perfectly, he’d be slightly disappointed.

He also had a knack for shooting through defenders’ legs, which not a lot of football fans had seen before Ole came along. It was incredible and a deliberate tactic on his part. He’d change the angle of the ball just enough until he’d manoeuvred the defender into the position he required, and then he’d fire the ball through their legs. I’d sometimes make the odd pass through a defender’s legs, but I never quite mastered the art of shooting like that. It was really clever and Ole had it down to a fine art.

Of course, Ole scored one of the most important goals in the club’s history and he’ll always be remembered for that moment in the Nou Camp. But his legend status at Old Trafford is built on more than one match. He scored so many goals and was so unselfish in the way he approached the game. He’s also a fantastic man - a true gentleman - and I think United fans recognise that. You don’t even have to have met Ole to realise what a nice guy he is.

Yet he’ll be remembered most fondly for what he did on the pitch and the way he always seemed to dig United out of trouble. If the ball dropped to anybody for half a chance to wards the end of a game then you wanted that person to be Ole because you knew he’d at least hit the target. More often than not, he’d find the back of the net, too.

Kenyataan Rasmi 40 Ulama Al-Azhar dan Mesir tentang Gaza

Segala puji bagi Allah, Tuhan sekelian alam. Tiada Tuhan selain Dia, Maha Kuat, Maha Penentu, Maha Perkasa, Maha Menguasai, Maha Esa, Maha Menentukan.

Dialah sebaik-baik Pelindung” (Ali Imran : 173).

Man Utd vs Everton (EPL)

Manchester United vs Everton
English Premiere League

Venue : Old Trafford
Date : 31st January 2009

Manchester United 1
Ronaldo (p)

Everton 0

There are many themes for this game.
Last game in January for the Devils.
12th consecutive clean sheet-extended record.

While in about 24hours after this game, Liverpool will play Chelsea, a game that will determine which team gonna be in the 2nd spot for the time being, which team gonna be THE team to really challenge United for the title race.

With the 1-0 win, United are 5 points clear for 1 day. The points could be reduced either to 4 or 2.

The game was a quick one.

Penalty could be a HOT point of discussion here.

The one and only goal in the match came from a penalty which taken by Ronaldo.
How it happened was, Carrick made a tricky roll-on the ball went through Everton's player's leg in the box, as he ran forward, that player hooked his leg and Carrick went unbalance but still strive to get to the ball and another defender slide-tackled him and that's it!!! A penalty.
I was not sure the penalty was given for which foul. The sliding was actually clean for me. And the hooking situation was penalisable but too harsh to be given as penalty. However, the referee also human, he can make mistake aite? He decide what he saw from his angle. For me, that was not a penalty.

However, there was another occasion where Carrick(again?) was dirty-tackled in the box but not given penalty. That should be a penalty. Fair enough i guess!!!

As for Everton, they also had one foul in Devils' box but not given penalty. I would rather rate that incident as similar case to United's penalty case. It is penaliseable, but not that serious where penalty will be a harsh one.

OK. Enough on penalties. I give Carrick man of the match award for this game. Runner-up, Tevez.

Player's rating
Van Der Saar
Another clean sheet by the keeper. Superb. He did not have to make any dangerous save. But he did well in few occasions through out the game.

Neville
Welcome back. He looked good as ever.

Ferdinand
He looked OK at the back but I believe he is not yet fully recovered because I didnot really see him in the occasions where he used to be in the past.

Vidic
Did well

O Shea
Inconsistency is still his theme. But overall he did well. And contributed a lot to the team.

Park Ji Sung
He played his game the way he does everytime. But it is obvious he got tired as the time clocked.

Fletcher
Defended and delivered the ball well. Good job!!

Carrick
Marvellous game by this lad. Great passes. Magnificient vissions. He was involved in many attacking moves including the penalty incident. He also had few shots unlucky not to went in.

Ronaldo
His quick feet is back. Penalty is always easy for him (except final Champions League haha). But he not back like the 2008 Ronaldo yet.

Berbatov
Dissapppointing in the first half. He lost in action. I did not see him running nor getting the ball. 2nd half, he appeared to make the impact for the team.

Tevez
The busiest player ever. Running all the way 90 minutes. Pressure the goalie for every single back pass. Lucky not to get a goal for himself.

Brown(sub Neville)
Looked fresh but he missed too many matches, so he'll needs time to settle back in. For this game, he did OK.

Giggs (sub Fletcher)
Combination of him and Carrick was great. 2 great mind. 1 by nature, 1 by experience. Marvellous to watch.
