Kelkatu FC 2 vs Sabah FC 2

First match this season. What a draw by Cendol. There are some new faces in the team.

Line up

4-3-3.

I took one week to sort out the line-up...with 4-4-2 formation but it just didn't click considering set of players that we have.
But, 4-3-3 is possible in term players availability, but still it was a gamble.

Mao started, and expectation was high on him, to play the marking game in the center.
Safiq, despite favor not play to play outfield, played his part as starting striker, with Mohsen, and young Amirul.
Amirul, new striker that I didn't expect from him but just a decent game, which surprisingly performed well.
Venket was not available. He went back KL. So, left back was left empty because Izwan left uni also. BUt lucky enough we got new Hazrin, which plays right back. So, versatile Mirul(Buchik) placed on left back.
Koy-Cen combination is permanent for this season, we got no other center back.
Azam only wants to play at the center.
Me? No comment.

Salim was injured, we tried to give him some pain killer but didn't work. So he sub.
Kameel(new) sub and ready for middle play.
Abdi, unready striker for that day. We saw in training that he hasnt play football for quite some time, so we rest him(plus he came late).
Mamat, ready as sub striker.

Btw, night before, Cen(manager) and Sedut(president) approved the 4-3-3 idea.

First half went well. Sabah didnt get much of their game. Thanks to Mao mostly for that. He got Had and Fir moveless in the Sabah's heart. And, Mohsen assisted Amirul for his debut goal, 1-0 in first half.

I started 2nd half with an unusual nervous. No subs made yet.

Ahmed got the equaliser from a counter attack. 1-1.

Salim in for Mohsen.
Peeche got his 2nd yellow for a tackle from behind(from ref point of view) to Salim. So Sabah play with 10men now.
Safiq got soft foul on left edge of the penalty box. He cramp, and out. Mamat in.
Salim suggest for a cross and header.
I deliver, Amirul fly high to get our leading goal. 2-1.

9 minutes left. Sabah kick off. Taha saw Hafiz off-position. He made a long shot from the center circle. Bounced in the penalty box. Hafiz mis-timed it. Goal. 2-2.

We fought hard with this scoreline. I got cramped. Kameel in for me(3 minutes before time).

Full time! 2-2.
Machanz is next.

Please Jangan Nakal

Semua tahu kamu cantik
Semua tahu kau menarik
Kau bidadari terhebat
Membuat cintaku makin kuat

Kadangkala ku cemburu buta
Saat ramai mata terpesona
Terlebih saat ku mahu pergi
Di saat itu kau ada di sini

Chorus
Please please please
Kamu jangan nakal
Ku pergi sebentar
Bukan untuk curang
Please please please
Kamu jangan nakal
Nanti aku datang
Bawa yang kau pesan

Diriku untukmu

Semua tahu kau milikku
Semua tahu ku cintamu
Ada pun yang memandangku
Betapa beruntungnya aku

Kadangkala ku cemburu buta
Saat ramai mata terpesona
Terlebih saat ku mahu pergi
Di saat itu kau ada di sini

Ulang Chorus

Bukan aku terlalu
Mengawal sikapmu
Ku hanya terlalu
Terlalu sayangi kamu
Ampunkan aku terlebih-lebih
Jagakan kamu
Ku cintamu
Kau cintaku

Ulang Chorus 3X

Diriku untukmu
Diriku untukmu

I Quitted Quitting Gossip Girl

Wahahaa...this might sounds funny, but yea, after around 12hours, I actually started watching episode 16. So the dcision made was reconsidered. And I finished the season 1, alive. So nothing wrong with that I guess. I hope I won't be updating this blog with more Gossip Girl thing anymore after this cause I found it too normal already. We don't write a story about a normal thing aite?? so season 2 is next.

A bit of life update than just the GG marathon.
Had refined the CFC situation, with new committee taking charge - actually combination of some experienced faces. Read CFC blog for this.
Dinesh came for 4 days to settle everything up, he's leaving Curtin for good. Will continue his study in KL. So all the best Cha! Had the farewell dinner also, and surprisingly Dinesh came up with a meanningful farewell speech, his side that I never noticed before. Good one!
Design project is out, gotta deal with some wastewater thing. Hope my group and me can co-op well about this.
FYP also started pressing, and i don't really know what to expect just yet. Meeting the lovely Ms Tan tomoro. haha.
My football is getting in place. Other sports are also taking charge around campus. Rugby. Basketball. Volleyball??

Gorgiena Made Me Quit Gossip Girl at Episode 15

Sounds funny? But that's the reality. Haha.
The story starts last year when I accidentally watched an episode of it when Mea was watching it, at Azfar's. I am not really sure which one, but after watched from 1 to 15, it should be one of that. Haha. So I kinda like the story, I wanted to watch it full, from zero opisode till the end.
Only now I had the chance to do that, and thanks to Mea + Wan for borrowing the laptop.
I watched it, understand everything from early..... Liked it... Up to episode 13, which I think it is all good despite all the complicatedness. Humm...
But not when this badass girl Gorgiena turn up in the story(ep14), that changed the whole scenario of the 'transformed' Serena. So, I decided to quit it at Episode 15. Dont wanna know what's next anymore. And I guess it is a good timing, because class and work started for me.
Bye bye Gossip Girl XOXO haha!!

Adidas Super Sala VIII

(This is not my picture, but this is exactly the shoe I am talking about)

Adidas as one of the most decorated shoe brand in the world of sport, has introduced a series of indoor shoe for futsal shoes in 2003, called Adidas Sala. As it is for futsal, the indoor football with style, Sala accomplishes all the needs.
The shape is exactly for football, with all the angles right for kicking, controlling, dribbling and for the most important of it - shooting. It is also right for the beautiful style of football as it has nothing wrong to be worn as casual shoe outside the turf.

To be exact, I had just bought the latest series of this Adidas shoe, Super Sala VIII which means this is their 8th generation of production. It is also important to know that the 8th Sala generation, has cousins themself. One is this Super Sala that we are talking about, and the other one is the one named Top Sala. The main noticable difference is that Super Sala has more fabric portion at the front side of the shoe, while Top Sala has more hard coated side in front.
For Super Sala, they have in production in various colors including white-orange, blue-white, black-pinkish red, orange tones, reds, white-yellow, white-baby blue, and the one I got is gray-green. Wanted to put the picture of it from all angle, but sadly my phone(aka camera) is having big problem. So, I can't get the picture. And surprisingly there is no picture of it anywhere online. The closest I can get is Super Sala VII- the 7th generation.

So basicly, this is the color of my shoe, but the design is the Super Sala VIII (like the blue or orange below).

Actually, I wanted to get the shoe which is blue-blue, seen online. But, I don't think it is anywhere in Malaysia market.
The nearest was this blue-white shoe, and it is available here in Miri.

But, somehow, my FIT size for playing purpose is not available here, in this color. I can wear from 6.5 to 8 UK size. But, for playing purpose, it got to be fit and tight, so 6.5 is perfect Adidas size for me. So, I had to again skip this color option. So, in Miri only left with 2 more colors which are the black, and the grey.

I actually saw the orange back in Peninsular, but it is too shiny. And for the blue, I didn't really mind to not have them because my previous futsal shoe - Adidas F30 was blue btw.

Friday 17

Sape kata Friday 13 is a bad day? I totally against that.
Why? Sebab, friday is a good day, penghulu segala hari. And number 13 is a good number. Sebab rukun solat pun13, yg setiap satunya mempunyai segnificant yg sgt bermakna dlm hidup manusia. Plus, memang 13 adalah nombo feveret aku.
So, sebenarnya, Friday 17 adalah hari berhantu yang sangat menyakitkan hati.
Why?
Ingat nombo brape Nani pakai? 17. Ape jadi dgn dia? x perform. ParkJiSung pakai 13, ok jer...
OK.
Real story about the bloody friday 17 is here.

Kerana supp pada friday 17, aku melalui byk tekanan.
1st, of cos aku kena balik miri seawal 16hb. Apakah. Huh.
Pastu, supp pulak mcm haram.
dan pada masa sama aku telah pun berada di posisi untuk tak dapat pergi tgk MU nye game yg aku dah beli tiket dan sebagainya.
So, bila aku dah bengang giler dgn supp aku, aku berkobar2 balik nak release tension dgn cara blk KL, tgk game, enjoy ngan member2....
So, aku cari tiket.
Dulu(last week), miri KL jumaat ptg is only 300(airasia).
But tadi(11am), dah 600+ airasia DAN MAS.
cari punya cari, Miri JB ada RM218, arini jugak. Pukul 640, sampai 835.
So, aku pun buat lah plan. Roger sana sini. Nak cari duit utk tiket dsb.
The plan is, aku g JB, 835 sampai, ambik bas, so aku sampai KL around 1 ke 3 pagi gitu...x pe...sanggup...
tiket MU? aku buka web proticket.com.my. Aku buka lelong. aku ambik no tepon yg berkenaan. Aku bid utk tiket d lelong. Nah. Semangat.
And at the same time, Mao patutnye ambik Islah kt epot around 4. So aku nak folo, beli tiket, dan stay je epot to catch the flight. Nah.
330, mao ckp tajul x sempat balik, so tajul g ambik Islah terus.
Hah? Aku masa tu dah almost siap packing(for a backpacking trip). So there goes everything. All the plan.
So I sat down, facebooking, meluahkan apa ketensionan yang terkemelampauan itu.
Tiba tiba aku semangat semula. Aku check flight Bintulu KL. Ada. Esok. pagi, agak mahal. Ptg, 228. Within the budget just now. OK!! Eh jap, flight to arrive KL 615 tomoro. Game start 530. Harapan jela. So aku pasrah lagi.
Tiba2, aku buka MU punya site, they are not going to Indonesia. They'll stay in KL longer. And match against Indonesia team might take place in KL. So aku check lg all possible travel. Hmmm... Bombing in Jakarta. Ganas seh.

Dah betul2 pasrah, aku rase nak bersukan. Msg Mao dgn Gapam. ON. Gapam dtg, bola plak xde. G ambik bola kt bilik Aju, kempis. Ape lah harini.... G cari Mao kat lab nk ambik motor nak g beli pam, Mao plak xde. Dia dah balik. Akhirnya, dpt jugak main bola. Dan stress aku pun reda 30%....not bad la...
hmmm...

so that's it up to now.
Mao ajak g movie td....tp senyap je nih...perut lapar...

Another chaos

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
But what if your plan failed. Ummm... Interesting, that is life. You can plan but God decide the rest. Face it!

Here is the plan.
16 July - go KL from terengganu by bus. (no tiket yet)
17 July - watch the training session, lepak dgn Izwan bla bla bla (tiket bought)
18 July - watch the match.(tiket bought)
19 July - Window shopping KL
20 July - go somewhere, ehem ehem...(no tket yet)
21 July - Fly miri(tiket bought)...and thats it.... PLus, i am expecting to regain the allowance for this upcoming sem, which should be the final sem, where i will take 112.5 credits - hell of workloads..

But, this is what I know I gotta to do for those said dates....
17 - supplementary for transport phenomena - in miri.
so??? I got to be in miri on 17...so the training confirmed missed!!

the problem in whole....how the hell i must be in miri on 17(actually 16) from terengganu, but need to be in KL on 17 and 18 at the same time....looks like the MU tiket burnt.....as well as the airasia tiket on 21st...plus i have to get a new flight tiket, on 16, KT to KL to Miri.

What options do I have?
1 - go on 16. Sit for the test. Forget the rest. pro, settle the study, and thats it (but not to forget there is no gerenti i'll pass it anyway, it'll just be an attemp).... con, burnt MU tiket, burnt flight tiket, extra money on 16 tiket which is already very expensive now...
2 - forget bout the test, follow original plan. Pro, all tikets in used, no waste. Con, confirm need to extend to next year, hell no!!
3 - 16 fly miri from KT. 17 morning test. 17 evening, fly back to KL. 21 go back use the bought tiket. Pro, satisfied, accomplishing all need to be done on those dates. Cons, more money out. for the 16 flight, and 17 flight. damn!!!

oh...not to forget, no matter what, i won't have allowance next sem. headache!!!!!!!!

hope?? somebody sponsor my flight tiket miri to KL on 17. Then other prob consider solved!!! hell dream on boy.......

Transfers in Old Trafford so far

Haha. mungkin pembaca blog aku dah confuse. NI blog Tompoq ke blog MU. Tapi pedulik hape aku. ni blog aku. suke hati aku la nak tulis ape kan. Haha. asalkan aku tak citer pasal benda2 yang personal orang lain, kira bagus la tu kan. Okeh.

Owen, surprisingly signed by Alex Ferguson. Gempak seh orang tua tu. Dia mmg cekap je intai peluang. Mungkinkah Owen akan jadi segempak signing Cantona. Cantona dibeli murah dari Leeds, Owen free dari Newcastle - exLiverfool, ex-realmadrid.

So, Owen, mmg real striker. Pure finisher. Tak dapat dinafikan. Aku harap dia ganti kegempakan Nistelrooy yang belum diganti2.... Schemeichal dah diganti Van der Saar. Nistelrooy diganti Owen? Hopefully.

Ronaldo ganti Beckham. Sape ganti Ronaldo? satu misteri yang sukar nak tentukan sehingga the next no7 appear. harus diingat, Beckham ganti the legendary Cantona (Beckham wore 24...haha)...

OK....
other than Owen....it was Valencia who came in earlier. Aku tak tau la mamat Valencia ni worth signing ke tak...personally aku rase Owen lagi gempak...tp yela, Owen ada injury history, so he is a risk, compare to Valencia. Is Valencia the new Cole? I'd rather just watch this than guess.

Addicks?? Sape pulak ni??? Ni lagi satu kegempakan mamat Ferguson ni...pandai je dia skodeng.... umur 15 tahun, dari Charlton. Wow. Ingat Pigue dari Barcelona? Mungkin Alex nak create new cover untuk John Evans...mungkin jugak la....center back umur 15....aku harap dia buat debut Premier League cepat2....haha....

Sape dah keluar? Tevez sbb dia x penah sign full untuk MU pun...just loan, tp 2 years at Old Trafford. So, takpelah...we will miss his oxygen tank, tp kita still ada park ji sung for that. Ronaldo?? Aku dah cakap dari tahun lepas..jual je...dpt byk duit sket....haha...tapi takpe....at least MU dapat player in FIFA best player bla bla bla while that player still in MU.... ok la tu...and bagi chan budak ronaldo tu dpt rase champion of the world, cos Portugal won't get that title ever....

So....after all....keluar masuk kt MU xde la menarik mana pun....surprise here n there je. nothing much.... yang melampau adalah ke-genius-an Alex ferguson....solute lu la sir...

Manchester United v Malaysia - Preview

Dengar je MU announce, aku dah check tarikh....tapi nasib baik x beli tiket awal2 sbb tukar tarikh, 18july.

Aku punye semangat....aku x kesah sangat pon pasal tgk match tu...tp yang aku paling kesah...aku nak tgk training session diorang....mesti best kan....

tp....setahu aku training tiket x tahu lah ada jual ke tak....
tp awal2 dulu (may kot), sape beli tiket match, dpt training tiket free. so aku belilah tket yg RM58 tu...suruh adik kpd member aku belikan kat Al-Ikhsan atau Nike outlet kt KL. Maklum la aku kt Miri time tu. dpt la aku both tickets.

Selalunya, frenly camni, MU tak pakai full team player pun...campur2 rojak2 try2 sana sini.

Tahukah Anda? Barthez pernah main LEFT WING lawan team Singapore suatu ketika dulu. Dia sub Diego Forlan time tu. Haha. Tapi Barthez mmg hampeh la. Beckham pun bantai gelak tgk dia nye cross, tp aku rase aku selalu tgk cross mcm tu dlm liga M. Haha.

So, Bukit Jalil, here I come. 17 and 18 July. First time nih aku TENGOK bola kat Bkt Jalil. First aku pegi dulu tgk SureHeboh 2004. Haha. Ada memori beb gi sana time tu. Tu first time aku masuk stadium tu. Aku g naik motor EX5 aku, yang lampu belakang depan dah x nyala....aku g siang, so no prob...balik, aku nyalakan lampu signal all the way....sampai sunway college. Haha

Okeh back tu MU v MY. aku harap good game. to all frens who's coming, see u in KL!! haha.

09/10 = 95/96 ???

The personnel changes announced by United this month – the departures of Ronaldo and Tevez - have prompted flashbacks to my first close season at the club, 14 years ago.

It was a summer of uncertainty in 1995, as two members of the Reds’ 1994 Double-winning side departed in July (followed by a third, my favourite player Andrei Kanchelskis, in August).

The first two deals were, of course, the high-profile exits of Paul Ince and Mark Hughes, who left Old Trafford in quick succession. Having had barely any warning that either was on his way, the fans and staff – club magazine reporter in my case – were bewildered and demanding answers. Fortunately, the then chairman and chief deal-maker Martin Edwards was willing to give me those answers, so I headed over to his South Stand office to glean them.

Dusting off the back issue this morning, I couldn’t help but draw parallels between the events of July 1995 and the present situation. That’s if situation isn’t too grand a word for what may only be half the story - yes, we know who’s going, but let’s wait and see who might be coming before we start talking about Cabinet-style meltdowns.

Some of what Martin Edwards said about the summer leavers in ’95 could easily fit with this year’s departing duo. For Ronaldo to Madrid, read Ince to Milan… “When the offer for Paul Ince came in from Milan, I put it to the manager and he felt that at that price it was worth taking. What it does is build up the kitty for the future." Inter offered £7million for Ince – not even a tenth of what Real will pay for Ronaldo – but at the time it was also the Reds' record sale.

For Tevez to TBC, read Hughes to Chelsea. Mr Edwards explained, “We agreed a new contract with Mark, but when he was dropped for the last league game at West Ham, he was very upset about it. Mark Hughes is the type of player that wants first-team football, he doesn’t want to be on the fringe, and so it suited him to go.”

The echoes may not end there. Then, as now, the press were predicting who might fly into Manchester as replacements. But the mid-'90s hacks were hampered on their flights of fancy by a silly rule that limited the number of foreigners – Welsh, Irish and Scots among them – in any XI.

“(Roberto) Baggio would only add to our list of foreign players,” said Mr Edwards, shooting down the latest big rumour in flames. “Where would he play? Baggio plays up front and we already have Cole and Cantona.”

And United today already have Berbatov and Rooney. While the Bulgarian was bought almost a year ago now, he may prove to be the big-name successor to our outbound stars – similar to how Andy Cole was in 1995, when he arrived six months before Hughes left. Yes, there’s been mix and match in the meantime, but while Ronaldo and Tevez are going, Wazza and Berba are still on board, with a year of familiarisation under their belts.

Finally, of course, there’s a raft of young talent - Macheda, Welbeck et al - waiting to seize their chance. Shades of ’95 again? Back to Mr Edwards:

“One of the reasons the manager was prepared to let Paul go is that he wants to give Nicky Butt the chance and perhaps see how Beckham develops.”

So if you’re close to pressing the panic button because “There are no immediate buys” (another quote from ’95) then please refrain… instead, just watch, wait and don’t be surprised if history repeats itself 14 years on. For 2009/10, read 1995/96. Hopefully.

Looking For Eric

There have been longer, less torrid love affairs, but few are burned into the memory as indelibly as Eric Cantona’s five-season fling at Old Trafford. In the week he hits the silver screen in Looking For Eric, ManUtd.com examines why the Frenchman remains one of the club’s most idolised players…

That Eric Cantona's arrival from Leeds only slightly preceded the end of United's 26-year wait for the League title was no coincidence – the Frenchman was the brooding, swaggering catalyst behind the most successful period in the Reds' history.

Prior to his signing, the Reds were teetering between nearly men and battle-hardened winners. So much was already in place for success: The unflinching defence, a midfield combining industry and incision, and the blend of brutality and subtlety in attack.

It was a side which could claim to be the finest in the land, yet still missed that telling je ne sais quoi of champions. Cantona’s arrival provided the Gallic afflatus to send United over the tipping point - just as he had with Leeds some nine months earlier as the Whites pilfered the 1991/92 title from under the Reds' noses.

Midway through the following campaign, with the Reds in steady but unspectacular form, a phone call from Leeds chief executive Bill Fotherby provoked a moment of opportunism from Sir Alex. Fotherby had dialled Old Trafford to broach the potential signing of Denis Irwin. Instead, less than an hour later, he and Leeds boss Howard Wilkinson had agreed to send Cantona across the Pennines for a cut-price £1million.

With that spontaneous counter-offer, Ferguson had bought the player who would bring glory back to United. As the manager subsequently admitted in his autobiography: “One of the most extraordinary periods in the history of Manchester United was about to begin.” But beyond simply signing a top class talent who guaranteed more points and prizes, the Reds had snared a man with the mentality and charisma of a champion. Even the manager was taken aback by the immediacy of Cantona’s off-field impact.

At the end of his first training session at The Cliff, Eric strolled up to Sir Alex and asked him for two players and a goalkeeper, so that he may continue to practice. An extra half-hour was spent with the Frenchman volleying crosses from either side. The next day, half the first team squad stayed for the extra-curricular session.

“Many people have justifiably acclaimed Cantona as a catalyst who had a crucial impact on our successes while he was with the club,” said the manager, “but nothing he did in matches meant more than the way he opened my eyes to the indispensability of practice.”

A squad who, hitherto, had little tangible success to back up their glaring promise was revitalised. Over a quarter-century of anguish and near-misses was soon a distant memory as the Reds elbowed their way to the head of a three-way tussle for the title alongside Aston Villa and Norwich City. There was even the flourish of champions – seven straight wins to end the season in style.

The winning habit had started and Cantona, chest puffed, collar upturned, was the charismatic face of the new champions. Previously something of a journeyman, the Frenchman had a loving home at last. He had achieved near-divinity with United supporters, who saw in Cantona the edgy visionary which had lived deep within Manchester’s favourite sons, from Best to Bez.

As the adulation gushed forth from the stands, the trophies were flowing at a similar rate. In his five seasons at Old Trafford, Cantona won four Premier League titles and two FA Cups. Indeed the only season in which the Reds failed to clinch England’s crown, the French talisman was spectacularly sidelined. Had Cantona not taken exception to the baitings of Crystal Palace supporter Matthew Simmons at Selhurt Park and collected a nine-month ban for his troubles, the history books could very easily tell the tale of United’s five successive league titles between 1993 and 1997.

Cantona’s importance during his playing career was obvious - he was team talisman and a phenomenal player. But it’s the seismic shift in mentality he instigated among the players which continues to be felt around Old Trafford. Over 12 years after he retired, the winning habit he championed shows no sign of culmination.

Football Night to Champions Night

Last Saturday, we had this so called Champions Night. It is a Sports Night, organised by an indipendent body, actually consists of the Student Council working together with the presidents of sports clubs in Curtin. O well.

The night went very well, up to their plan. Congratulation guys. U did it!!

It took me back to somewhere around the same time of the sem last semester, when we had Football Night. From a boring unglamourous prize giving ceremony of Curtin League at the field, PeeChe came out with this idea, to organise an event, at a proper place, together with dinner, to celebrate the winners of Curtin League.

Idea accepted. Shannon offered a hand to PeeChe. While Chris gave a huge support to them. And me? I agreed with them, but I got too occupied to directly involve. So yea, me being the president of CFC that time, delegated that CFC Nite task to them. Yes. 3 musketeers. Great musketeers that invented the event, with "My favorite team" theme. The hero, PeeChe, Shannon, Chris.

O well, that time was also the election time of Student Council. The laeding party, was opposed by some individuals. And the individual includes Ranulph running for President post. Something that did not happen before, a single (I mean individu instead of party,...haha) man, fight for that post, against a quite strongly supported party. PLus some more individual, with a strong-enough character.

And yea, by the time event is going on, they are still in campaign term, so as a club under Student Council, we shouldn't be bias to any side as it could jeopardise the club's "luck" in future. So yea, the night happened, as we imagine. To be frank, the flow was kinda scrappy, but OK. OK as in acceptably succesful. Great job to everybody that got involved, including the "disabled-MC" and his partner. Haha.

So, I remember in my speech (oh I got it recorded, and I found out later that I had too many "OK" in my speech. Haha), I did mention this one thing, suggesting to NEXT student council, whoever the president is, to try together with the clubs to organise "Sports Night" so that the similar event, could be done, in a larger scale, more people, more content.

Oh, actually even since PeeChe came out with that idea, we all already thought of Sports Night. It wasn't my idea alone. Chris wanted it too. So as Shannon. Also Jojo was there with us in most of our discussion session for CFC Nite. And we actually voiced it to the running-president Ranolph bout it (cause Ranolph is everybody's friend compare to the party's president). So, yea, my task that night in that speech was just to OFFICIALLY suggest it to EVERYONE especially to the other club leaders.

I remember Fariq was there (Rugby), Jojo(Badminton), Ranolph(Basketball) and funny enough while giving my untexted speech, I tried to read Chris mouth as he tried to tell me Volleyball and Swimming club president was also around. Lucky enough I read him, and greet their support to our event at that time also. So, that's it, I mean that's it with Football Night in 2008. A rare occasion that lead to something after that.

At the end, 30 May 2009 saw another history when the suggested Sports Night became reality. It was not under Student Council as predicted. But the council president himself gather all the clubs leaders, and get the committee together, successfully there.

Pingpong, football, rugby, swimming, volleyball, basketball, badminton (that's all i can remember) were all there. Cricket was missing. Frisbee(is it even a sport?) not there too. BUt yea, it was huge enough. Impressive!!

And I got goosebump when I heard Ranolph speech that nite. When he stepped up, I remember I was there, same place last time. But hearing his speech, telling everybody about the nite, and heard my own name mentioned as part of the OLD history of it, was really something special. Maybe not everybody in the crowd knows me. Only those who play rugby and football knows who is Tompoq. Pingpong, swimming, badminton, volleyball, basketball, I doubt they know Tompoq. But yea. Who cares aite?

It is not that people know and remember you that matters. It is you, doing something that has impact on things, that could be more satisfying. The feeling is a lot better than getting all the attentions. It is just the deep feeling inside your heart, and you'll just express it by a really meaningful smile, that maybe ONLY you know what is it. And maybe some people that was there along the way. They'll understand what its like.

And yea. It was a happy ending for me. Really. And that should go to thank PeeChe, Shannon and Chris for making Football Night last year a reality. Really. Without that spark, there won't be this Sports Night. You guys are meant to be part of this great history, and may this event held every semester to celebrate all the clubs activities through out the semester with this memorable way.

Congratulation!

Barcelona Got Their Treble

Barcelona wrapped their 08/09 season to be the 3rd team to ever achieve 3 award in a season. They sealed La Liga last week. They won the Copa del Rey. And just now, Manchester United became the Catalan's next victim, in UEFA Champions league. While United is hunting for their own less-famous-treble from League Cup, Premier League and chasing to retain Champions League.

United had a good start, with few attacking threat. But, that only last for 9 minutes, when Barca's first attack gave Eto'o the goal.
From that onwards, they were level, but Barca showed more character, stronger game play.
Everything goes to Barca way when Messi headed beautifully Xavi's cross to stun Van der Saar to beg his 9th goal for this tournament this season, which mean he is the obvious winner of tournament's GoldenBoot.

Best player of 2009.

O well, I watched it wearing Man Utd jersey 1986. With SHARP sponsor. HAha. Got back to room, and frens are waiting to boo me, so I chnaged to Barca jersey first before meet them. Haha.

Party 99 Way

Ole Gunnar Solskjær remembers the brief instruction uttered by Sir Alex Ferguson as he waited to step out on to the Camp Nou turf for the closing stages of the 1999 UEFA Champions League final.

Last roll of dice
Manchester United FC were still trailing to Mario Basler's sixth-minute strike for FC Bayern München and Solskjær's 81st-minute introduction was a last roll of the dice. "We had made an habit out of scoring goals late in games that season, I scored a few of them so he didn't need to say anything. He just said, 'Go and do what you can do'," Solskjær recalled.

Dramatic climax
What happened next was the most dramatic climax in the history of the European Champion Clubs' Cup final. Bayern ribbons were already being applied to the trophy when, with 90 minutes on the clock, Teddy Sheringham struck United level following a David Beckham corner. With extra time beckoning, Beckham swung over another corner, Sheringham flicked the ball on and Solskjær stuck out a boot to scoop it into the roof of the net.

Treble
From a distance of ten years, the memories of that moment, of sliding on to his knees in celebration and being mobbed by his team-mates, have become a blur. "I can't really remember everything from exactly when I scored the goal or the celebrations. I remember players who had been substituted coming to celebrate, we were all celebrating a fantastic night," he said. With his goal, United had become the first English club to claim the treble of league, FA Cup and European Cup. "The best thing was the party afterwards, it was such a celebration.

Supersub
"Of course I will always be remembered for scoring that goal," he added. "It did not make me a better footballer, which was my main priority at the time, but now, ten years after, I realise how big a moment it was for the club." For Solskjær, now reserve-team manager at Old Trafford after his retirement in 2007, that goal sealed his reputation as the supersub par excellence. That 1998/99 season he hit eight of his 18 goals after springing off the bench – four in a 19-minute appearance at Nottingham Forest FC and a last-minute FA Cup winner against Liverpool FC. Did the former Norwegian international, now 36, ever regret his supersub status? "Maybe at the time when I was young I wanted to play more, but I made the decision to just put my career in the manager's hands and do what he said. Looking at the results I cannot complain about that decision."

'Fantastic manager'
A decade on and Sir Alex is getting the best out of a new generation of United players. Solskjær's admiration for this "fantastic manager" is obvious as he lists the Scot's attributes. "The knowledge of football, the experience, but also the hunger – he always wants to win, he wants to be the best. The way he treats his players, he manages them." And how does this latest crop compare with his 1999 vintage? "I was lucky enough to play in that 1999 team, it was the best team I ever played with, but at the moment we have a fantastic squad always challenging for trophies." With a third successive Premier League title under their belts, Solskjær is optimistic they can now retain their European crown with victory over FC Barcelona. "Of course I believe in Manchester United. We have a fantastic team who play great football and when it comes to the end of the season our experience could help us."

Timing
The UEFA Champions League final falls ten years and a day after United's Camp Nou triumph – which some of their supporters may claim as an omen. Solskjær said: "I hope so. It was a good omen for us in 1999 as it was Sir Matt Busby's birthday the day we won. He would have been 90. The club have made a tradition of making history at right time." Timing is something Solskjær knows all about.

Cannot Beat Barcelona

United legend Paddy Crerand says the emotions he experienced at the Nou Camp, Barcelona, on 26 May 1999, will take some topping...

Those incredible last few minutes of the 1999 season were the best in football for me, and that includes playing in the final myself at Wembley in 1968. It was the most emotional way to win a football match; you won’t beat it for drama, and it was so poignant, falling on Matt Busby’s birthday.

The Treble was about much more than Barcelona, of course. Ryan Giggs’ goal in the FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal sticks out a mile. Everybody thought it was gone when Dennis Bergkamp took his penalty. I’ll always remember three United fans behind the goal walking out before he’d even taken the penalty, then quickly running back! On so many occasions that season it was last minute, last kick and last gasp - they should have known better.

Those games against Arsenal were fantastic – as semi-finals they won’t ever be surpassed in English football. They were magnificent. My nerves were shredded, and not just then; fans went through the mill every week, and I’ll never know how the manager got through that season.

Maybe the answer was in the group of players. Off the pitch and on it, they were great. Everybody asks me which United team is the best ever. I always say the 1999 side. They won the Treble. Nobody’s done it before or since. For me, they’ll be the best until we see what this current team can do…

Winning the Treble is some target, though, and being a previous European Cup winner with United, that night at the Nou Camp still means a lot to me. It meant more as a fan than a player, because I experienced everything around the game. For the match itself I was sat with some of the 1968 winners and we went absolutelypotty when Ole’s goal went in. Everyone in the stadium did, you couldn’t believe what you were seeing. There were grown men crying; the scenes were incredible.

Part of me – no matter how small – felt sorry for Bayern, especially as their fans in Barcelona that night took it so well. But it was United’s night. Everything came together, that evening and all season. Barcelona is a beautiful city, a football city with a historic football stadium. The final should be held there every year. But even if it was, it wouldn’t ever have a finish like we all saw and remember so fondly, 10 years on.

My Champions League Script

EUFA Champions League this time had gone perfectly to my script.

So for the final, I'll revela the script, and let see those stars in the final will follow it or do their own storyline.

O well...

The game will be balance. Entertaining. Attacking game. Lots of chances. But goalkeepers both on form. Miraculous saves.

Messi being wonderful, proving that he'll win the FIFA World Player of the Year 2009. Giggs showing his magic. Ronaldo? Too much dive and being such a cry baby-as usual.

The whole United squad play brilliant. Barcelona only rely on Messi. But yet Barcelona always ahead in term of goal, but just for United to equal it. Probabyly Messi will get a hat-trick? And Henry won't score. Giggs or Scholes get 1 for United. Rooney or Berbatov will also get one.

Scoring, I don't write on goal number. But, it'll be either a draw up to 90 minutes, or Barcelona lead by 1 goal up to 88 minutes. 1-1. 2-2. 3-3. 4-4. Or Barca 1-0. 2-1. 3-2. The stars can choose their own number for this. Haha.

Oh, so how it gonna end. Macheda will come in. At his own city, Rome. He gonna make his golden touch on the ball. And save the title for United.

Man of the Match. Messi. or Giggs. or Van der Saar.

Is this gonna happen? I say yes. Why? Remember the Chelsea knock-out. It gone just as planned. The final minute goal. It was in the script just for the star to act it right.

Final line in the script, United win Champions League- again.
But forget Ronaldo, because Messi win FIFA Player of the Year.

Kelkatu vs D Eagles

D Eagles made the appeal, and appeal approved. But of cos there is trade-off for them.. 3point deducted, + RM50 fine.

So, they play us with the need to win.
Let's simplify it.

Machanz already secured 1st(19points).
Trinity will definitely get 12points.
Now Eagles has 6 and Kelkatu have 7.
So for us,
win=2nd
draw=3rd
lose=4th or 5th

Eagles need to win to get to top 3.

we don't have
Cendol - suspended
sayyaf - KL
Mohsen - came late + knee injury
Safiq - field trip - late
Mamat - suddenly got some meeting.

So, we play. 1st 11.

Mau striker. Yes. But Eagle scored 1st. Change plan. Mau wing, Salim striker.
1st half 1-0 down.

2nd half, players start coming.
we equlised. we lead. But last minute, after Gala came off to go church, Eagles attack past the off-side trap, and equalised. HUH!!! Lots of complicated position adjustment in 2nd half.
Fariq did well on left wing today.

Anyway it was hell of a game. More like a battle field anyway. Awesome performance from the boys. Congrats tho!!

Yea. So ended 2-2. We are 3rd, almost confirm.
MOTM - Koyot. Yes he deserved it. But the whole Kelkaltuans did extremely well.

Kelkatu vs Trinity

This match was scheduled on 2may...but due to many reasons, postponed...we played on friday 8may...first half we start like this...

Great play by the players....but we only get 1 goal....nice cross from Salim, headed by Azam. 1-0.

Second half, come Fariq. He is in the team becos Izwan is out for long-term injury.... Mau in first...
Trinity managed to equalised.
Then I got too tired to handle the stamina of the Africans, so I think I did not function anymore, I out, Fariq in. Never tot that he is no longer the fast running Fariq. He was so slow in this match.

Cendol got his 2nd yellow, so we down to 10men for about 10minutes. Lucky Mau provided anough cover at center back to keep 1 point-valuable point to stay in top 3 because the 2 teams involved in fight is almost out from the league.

So at the end. 1-1. Draw.

Theme: AC Milan vs Juventus
MOTM: Sean (I think he did ok enough for his team to get it)
