Barclays Team of the Season (08/09)
The side, voted for by players from every top-flight club, includes goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, defenders Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra, and midfielders Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ferdinand has now been named in the team five times, while Vidic makes his third appearance and Evra and van der Sar their second. Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to have been honoured in each of the last four years.
For Giggs, who picked up the prestigious PFA Player of the Year award, it was the eighth time he has been selected in the side.
The only non-United players to be picked were Glen Johnson (Portsmouth, right back), Ashley Young (Aston Villa, midfield), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool, midfield), Fernando Torres (Liverpool, midfield) and Nicolas Anelka (Chelsea, forward).
Ryan Giggs the British Best 08/09
Ryan Giggs was named the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Players’ Player of the Year at a gala dinner in London on Sunday night.
Giggs, 35 and enjoying his 19th season in the top flight, has never previously won the award – voted by fellow professionals – but pipped team-mates Nemanja Vidic, Edwin van der Sar, Rio Ferdinand and Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard to this year’s gong.
"It's right up there with personal accolades," Giggs admitted. "It's the best to have as it's voted by your fellow players.
"I've been fortunate to win a lot of trophies - I won the young player award twice - but this is the big one."
Renowned in the world game as one of the best left wingers to ever take to the pitch, Giggs has operated largely as a central midfielder this season.
Despite the positional change, the Welshman has proved just as effective – these days it’s his guile, craft and ability to pick a pass that opens up opposition defences.
Speaking at the gala dinner, Giggs recognised the contribution United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has had on his development
"The manager has been massive in my career, from when I first met him when I was 13," he said. "That's over 20 years and he knows me better than anyone and our relationship has been brilliant and just gets better.
"I've been so fortunate to have such a great career in so many great teams. It's not even worth thinking about what it would have been like without the manager."
Giggs is the 32nd different player to win the award and takes the crown from fellow United star Cristiano Ronaldo, who won both the senior and young-player awards last term.
Kelkatu V Machanz
1st issue : Most of Kelkatu's players play rugby as well...and so the rugby club is going to Brunei for a 10s tournament... List who might go : Gala, Cendol, Koyot, Mau, Izwan, myself. So if all go.. we loss 6, we left 10..Haha...funny... But we manage to sort things out, only Gala and Cendol is sacrificed. we have 14 now..
2nd : Its foundataion free week. Mamat go back. Haduh... Lucky Hafiz the golly not going anywhere. So now down to 13.
3rd : Injury. Aju is having a long term injury. He'll need 2 weeks rest to go. So now 12.
4th : Heard on thursday, quite last minute, Mohsen the Berbatov is going to KK, holiday because free week also. Nah, we down to 11.
So everyone has to play full time, 80 minutes. Are we fit?
So what happen on the sunday... I mean just now...
Woke up quite early... Lunch at 230...Kira OK la...
4pm I'm kinda ready...but since I got to bring some balls, so decided to follow Izwan....
Nah another issue came up!!!
5th : Machanz's jersey is also red. Theirs are red-blue, while we are red-black.... Chris informed me Machanz is home, we are away, so we need to change.. OK. But what can I do. It suppose to be manager's job. Where is Sedut???
While i'm in worry state because I felt I am quite late to go to field, Hill was pushing me a bit about the jersey, makin la gua emo...haha.. and came Venket buat lawak mintak pelempang...hehe...aku dah emo abis time tu...
So, went to field, just nice 5pm. Had to wait for back up jersey. We wore the yellow jersey.
With 11 players we had, this is the formation:
The formation turned out bad as I couldn't play well at center back... And there was no player in center to distribute the ball.... Too bad... We down to 3 goals.. 2 were clearly my poor play...Damn it!!!
1st half.
2nd half, the BIG Boss made the changes and it worked quite well.
We chase and chase. Safiq and Salim made good run to scored 2. And we got 1 goal disallowed. And guess what? Do did not need sub!! Everybody was fit to run and run and run through out the game. Well done boys.
a free kick in 2nd half, missed the target, really need to do kicking practise like last time again.
So the ranking is like this now..
.
4th place. And the results so far is:
And these are yet to play:
Tough luck I guess. Just wonder IF we have full squad. With Mohsen available. With Cendol. And big very reliable back up from Gala and Mamat. After all, no komen. Haha.
Anyway, Congrats boys. You are all fit!! And sorry for weakness from the team management/arrangement. Need lots of improvement.
I got one nice picture taken by Afiq.Hope can post it somewhere. See ya!!!

Slumdog Millionaire
With : Aishah
OK. This movie is about "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" show.
This guy, a nobody, has answered all but the final question correctly. If he can answer that, he'll be the first to win the show. All geniuses or succesfull people with brilliant academic background has failed somewhere in between. The show will continue for the second day.
But, this guy was caught by police right after he went out of the show building. Why? Because the organizer thought this guy has cheated. It is impossible for this guy to know the everything asked considering his background - nobody. He was interogated to know how or who helped him to leak the questions or anything like that.
But the fact is he did not cheat. He turned up as a lucky guy in the show when all the questions, somehow lead to the incidents in his life, which made him knows everything.
This guy is actually came from extremely poor family. So, the hardness thought him all. Along his life, he bumped into all the answers for the show's question. The movie revealed every part of his life which related to the answers, as well as creating a love story that mounted by obstacles everywhere.
At the end, the police satisfied with the answer, let him go back for the final question. He won the millions. His story life seems possible after all the sequence of drama.
Hmmm... That's it. Nicely developed movie. Not a cliche one.
That Boy Macheda So Far
Just a few weeks ago, Federico ‘Kiko’ Macheda might have eyed April in the diary expecting to play most of his football at Moss Lane, home of non-league Altrincham FC and also United Reserves.
Instead, the young Italian has enjoyed a dream goalscoring debut at Old Trafford, netted the winner at the Stadium of Light and made his first senior start for United at Wembley.
Still only 17, Macheda has made a meteoric rise through the Reds' ranks since arriving from Lazio in September 2007, as our timeline shows:
15 September 2007 – Makes his United Academy debut away at Barnsley and grabs the only goal of the game as the Reds run out 1-0 winners.
13 December 2007 – Scores the winner with nine minutes remaining on his FA Youth Cup debut as United edge out West Bromwich Albion 2-1.
side at Warrington’s Halliwell Jones Stadium. Macheda pits his wits against Martin Skrtel during his 22 minute run-out.
27 March 2008 – Nets his first goal for the Reserves in his first start as the Reds ease to a 3-1 win over Newcastle United at Northwich.
8 October 2008 – Bags his first Reserves goal of the 2008/09 season as United beat Bolton Wanderers 3-0, pouncing on a loose ball to put the Reds ahead.
18 February 2009 – Scores twice but is then sent off as the Reserves battle back from 4-1 down to beat Wigan Athletic 5-4 in a breathtaking game at Robin Park Arena.
30 March 2009 – Bags a Reserves hat-trick against Newcastle at St James’ Park, including a superb 89th-minute equaliser. His performance earns him a place in the senior squad.5 April 2009 - Comes on for Nani in the 61st minute with United trailing 2-1 at home to Aston Villa in a vital league game. Ronaldo equalises in the 80th minute but the Reds are still set to drop two costly points until Macheda turns to fire a glorious winner past Brad Friedel in the dying moments. Kiko rushes to celebrate with his father in the crowd - and is harshly booked by referee Mike Riley for doing so!
11 April 2009 - Makes his second first-team appearance, again as a substitute (for Berbatov, 75). A minute after coming on, he scores his second winning goal for the Reds to defeat Sunderland 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.
19 April 2009 - Macheda is named in United's senior starting line-up for the very first time, in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley. Federico plays well but there's no fairytale this time as Everton beat the Reds in a penalty shoot-out.

Sideways (2004) - Movie review
Sideways. Released in 2004 I think.
Watched it at Arshad’s room. With Thareqeu and the host-Arshad.
I think this movie take place around 1990s. From the lighting and the story line. But, surprisingly, there were things appeared like at least it was 2001, or later. So, no comment about that.
Main character, Miles. Super looser. He is highschool teacher by career. But this story has nothing to do with school OK. Miles is a wine lover, wine expert. He is divorced. He is a writer by part-time, I mean he writes and tries to publish it but never been. He is a negative guy, effect from the failure in his marriage-sounds like he loves her too much something like that.
OK, co-character is Jack. An ex-actor somewhere 20 years back. He lives like an actor anyway even though he is no longer one. Miles and him are best friends. Real buddy.
So, what is it about?
It was a Saturday. Miles went to pick up Jack at Christine house. In one week, Jack will marry Christine. So they are going for the bachelor trip, for one whole week.
Jack, living in his glorious life, thinking of to get laid all the way, while Miles is focusing on living his wine-life, plus moaning with his awful life. Anyway.
They went to Windmill Inn, somewhere surrounded by grape estate. And, they keep going on over and over drinking and tasting the wine here and there bla bla bla. They got to a restaurant, met Maya the waitress. Miles knew her even before that. So, Jack who was earlier checking on her, helped Miles to get her.
At another bar, Jack found Stephanie, and managed to get her attention, so he set everything up. For him, and for Miles. Jack lied to everyone by saying that Miles is a writer, and is waiting to get his book published, so that was impressive.
While Jack made it fast and furious with Stephanie, Miles went very slow and keep losing chance. But at the end, he got it. Jack in the other hand, blinded with Stephanie CRAZINESS (u know what I mean, hot and wild), thought he fall into her, and willing to be part of the family (Stephanie has a daughter). Crazy!
Thursday, Miles accidentally told Maya about the wedding, so everything is ruined. Miles lost Maya. Jack whacked by Steph with helmet. He broke his nose. Haha.
Jack never had enough that he seduced another chick, and went back with her. And he got whacked again by the chick’s husband. Jack ran back to Windmill Inn naked, 5miles away. Haha. Another problem appear as they had to get back Jack’s wallet which is very important because the wedding ring is inside the wallet. He got it.
So they went back, Jack got married. And Miles, still a looser, with nothing achieved. At the ened, Miles received a phone call from Maya, like a peaceful call, which gives Miles some hope. -The end.
Yup, sounds boring when I read back here. But the movie was OK. If you have no expectation before watching it, it'll be a good watch. With any expectation, you'll be frustrated I guess. Haha.
I enjoyed it anyway!

Kiko Macheda
We've seen him last night, with the superb goal. But we know very little about him, except for those who follow closely in English Reserve League, or United's Youth Squad. So, I'll share all I can have from manutd.com
Born: Rome, 22 August 1991
Age: 17
Position: Striker
And lets read how he got to the bench last night....Obviously the striker problems that Sir Alex had, had opened the door for him to possibly fit in.
When United take on FC Porto in the Champions League quarter-final, Sunday’s match-winner Federico Macheda will return to the bench - though not to anonymity – and Sir Alex Ferguson insists the young Italian striker will remain grounded.
However, his spectacular cameo in the 3-2 win over Aston Villa has shown that he is a genuine option up front, with Sir Alex admitting he’d find it almost impossible to leave Macheda out of the reckoning on Tuesday.
“I think he’ll be involved on the bench,” said the boss. “I’ve got Wayne Rooney back, which is a big bonus for us. But it’s difficult to leave him out, isn’t it?
Macheda adapted to playing under the first-team spotlight with relative ease, rising to the most demanding of occasions. It’s vindication of Sir Alex’s judgement that he was ready for his shot at the big time.
“We ask the question every time we bring a young player into the team: have they got the right temperament? With 76,000 people at Old Trafford, playing for the stakes we were on Sunday, it’s a big ask for a young kid. But we were sure of Kiko in that respect.
“He’s just a young boy, and he doesn’t turn 18 until August. He’s like any young boy would be, they like to read things about themselves! But Kiko has the mental attitude to deal with it. He only needs to look at the examples set by Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville. They’re great examples. Even the younger generation, like John O’Shea and Darren Fletcher, are superb individuals in how they behave in normal life.”
Macheda proved his mental fortitude in his bid to be on the bench against Villa. Before United Reserves’ 3-3 draw against Newcastle on Monday, second-string boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer pulled the young forward to one side.
“I told Ole to tell him that if he did well against Newcastle he would be on the bench on Sunday,” said the boss. “It was a challenge for him and, of course, he went and scored a hat-trick. That’s him saying, ‘get me on that bench, quick!’ I like to see that in young players, wanting to get there."
Urrm....no 41, anyone?? Haha.. . I bet he'll get a smaller number next season...

Man Utd v Aston Villa
Old Trafford
Location watched : Opposite Chillie Peppers.
Result
United 3
Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Macheda
Villa 2
Carew, Agbonlahor
United come into this game with first team players unable to play.
Rooney suspended
Berbatov injured
Vidic suspended
Scholes suspended
Rio injured
And most players are tired had they just got back from international duties. Sir Alex had to use all he has in what he call his big-good-squad.
Van der Saar
Neville - captain, reported in manutd.com started as center back. But I don't it's correct because he played at his favorite position, right back.
O'Shea - said in the same article to play right, he actually played at center back.
Evans - center back
Evra - left
Fletcher - def.mid
Carrick - att.mid
Ronaldo - right
Nani - left
Giggs - 2nd striker
Tevez - main striker
OK. At the back, we can see the weakness. It's a rare combination anyway. The young Evans + the utility O'Shea. Loose marking allowed the 2 goals of header from the Villa's striker.
United first goal came from indirect free kick. Villa's defender made a back pass, a foul awarded. Giggs rolled it for Ronaldo to place it nicely to the far post. Ronaldo's 2nd was more a lady-luck-strike. He wanted to make a shot, but missed kick it faar to the left of keeper, near the post, to score the equaliser.
Macheda was in for Nani at 60th.
Who's Macheda?? Haha
Let me describe.
He's 17. Italian. Come from United's youth. PLayed in reserve team this season, scored 10. Scored 8 in youth league. He had just scored a hat-trick 6 days ago, agains Newcastle reserve. Is he good? I say VERY! Haha.
Then Welbeck in at 86th. You heard about this sensational striker aite? OK.
Macheda had problems receiving and controlling the ball early in his game. Understandable that this is his debut game at senior level. Debut + 17 y.o. But he just needed 30 minuted to become a super star.
Giggs feed a ball to him, flicked it, curl a brilliant goal passed Friedel to the left post. Superb. Marvellous. I vote this goal is waaay better than Welbeck's debut. Haha.
Anyway, Macheda looked like Lampard. Haha.
So, if United is said to have striker problem, I think Sir Alex has the solutions already. Welbeck. Macheda. Can we forget Berbatov for now? my answer, why not?

Fast & Furious 4
Cinema : Star Cineplex Miri
DAte : 4April2009-saturday
Time : 11pm
Geng : Wan. Mea. Van.
It is obvious, this movie had previous story about it as the title itself mentioned '4'. So, yea this is the fourth of a car craze movie. Haha.
#1, I watched 20mins of it in TV3....so I dunno anything detail.
#2, I watched it last week, in TV3. Many scenes were cut. But, great movie. Love the cars. And the heroin is so damn hot tho..
#3, I watched this in cinema lat time. 2-3 years back. Can't remember exactly when, but in Miri, same cinema. Tokyo Drift. Crazy movie. Like it!! U know, the Japanese chicks, the legs, fuh. Haha. NEXT!!
#4, watched it last night.
Scene start, Tonetto, Letty, Han(remember Tokyo drift?) and another car(more like loser there) highjack a petrol truck. Really nice scene!!
Tonetto ran to Mexico after that. Letty stay.
Letty was killed.
Tonetto came back for revenge.
Brian (FBI) has to find a way to get to Braga(a big drug dealer).
They tried to get into Braga's team, with racing because Braga hires super driver to bring his drug across the border.
They both got in. Funny, smart, genius stuff anyway!
Bla bla bla. They found Braga. Revenge made and etc.
Tonetto actually a wanted guy. So, Brian made a deal to clean him up. But the deal was later broken by the court. F** that, Brian made another cool crazy stuff in the end of the movie. Nice!!
OK. We all know this movie is about car and the speed.
But I think compare to #2 and this one, I like more cars and speeding actions in #2.
This one is more of principles and stuff like that. How Brian act. Why he did that. How Tonetto behaves. Stuff like that is more highlighted here, for me.
Anyway, it's a worth watching movie. A lot nicer if I can make a marathon, #1, #2, #4, and lastly #3 Tokyo Drift!!!!
I have the time, I don't have the movies. Haha.
Can you get a sexier can than this?? Yes, in this movie!!

Kelkatu FC vs Sabah FC
Date : 28 March 2009 – Saturday
Time : 3pm
Opponent : Sabah
Jersey : Jersey dah siap.
Result : lost 4-2
Scorers : Sultan(4), Mohsen, Safiq
First choice left wing Sayyaf not available. He gone back KL. O’ow….
First choice def-mid Mau injured still.
Amirul still struggle with his injury.
Line-up
The idea was quite similar to match against Galacticos. 5 defends.
Mohsen had to start, was informed earlier anyway. His role is supporting striker. Striker, not att-mid, but he is given more responsibilities to control the attack play. Safiq is the main striker.
Salim is moved to wing because of his previous performance.
Azam is utility, so no prob.
Pudin showed good control in center, so since I play Mau’s position, so Pudin play up there.
Back-4 is the first choice, but Mirul play with injury concern.
Sultan opened goal, offside trap kantoi. Keeper also not rushed out at right timing, need more experience with that.
Half time, 1-0 down.
2nd half, no sub.
Bouncy ball in center, I made some trick chip over Danny, pass to Mohsen, good play between them (Safiq, Azam, Mohsen), Mohsen scored.
Then Safiq scored. Wow!! We are leading.
Safiq dropped down, a bit of smart decision, but team were not mentally ready for that.
Missed clearance, Sultan scored.2-2
Subs are made, players tired.
Mau in for Pudin, no change in position. But Mau still badly injured, mistake by us.
Mamat also in for Mohsen. Mohsen played his role very well anyway. Mamat also can’t play yet, injured. Hadoi….
Aju in also (for Mirul or Izwan? I forgot)
Sultan scored 2 more. We had no stamina anymore.
Gala in for Cendol.
He got yellow card after that. Haha.
They were the better side....
MOTM : Sultan, 4 goals.
Kelkatu FC vs Crazy Stone
Date : 21 March 2009 – Sunday
Time : 5pm
Opponent : Crazy Stone
Jersey : ACMilan-alike, just arrived, without printing.
Result : won 12-0
Scorers : Safiq (5), Mamat (4), Chendoy (2) and Salim (1)
4 of our players played touch rugby earlier, from morning (me, Koyot, Cendol, Izwan). And just had a late lunch. I myself had a crazy amount of BBQ of chicken and lamb. Too good not to eat a lot. Haha. I had really lots of them.
So, considering the tired player + experimenting,
Actually planned to start Mohsen with Safiq instead…But he refused. So, nevermind. Experiment Mamat. And… He had like 10 open chances and missed them all. Haha.
Mau - rested, totally injured
Izwan - rested
Cendol - rested
Mirul - rested, injured.
Lucky Salim break the dead lock, from the side.
And after that come goals from Safiq…few of them.
Then Mamat manage to score.
I had few shots went wild. Urghh…
After comfort lead, tried to play more entertaining football, but nothing more entertaining than goals. So, just skip the beauty control. Haha.
2nd half, Cendol in for Gala.
Others also need to be put in, but who to call out?? So, managers decide….
Salim scored just one, the opener. But he made lots of assists from the wing. Great job!
At the end, everyone went in, manager’s decision cos I can’t decide anymore. So I dono who subbed who. Haha
Cendol scored 2. One nice header, from a free kick by me. I didn’t know when did he run into the box cos before that he was behind me. Hah?? Magic la Cendol.
After that, Cendol screwed the formations anyway. Tamak weh!!
Final formation,
Picture tells thousand story. I wanted to put 1000 Cendol inside. Haha.
Man of the match : Salim
Kelkatu vs Galacticos
It’s about Kelkatu’s team in Curtin League this season (1-2009)
OK. First match
Date : 15 March 2009 – Sunday
Time : 3pm
Opponent : Galacticos
Jersey : Red (Ground Zero’s last season)
Result : won 3-2
Highlight : Vee’s red card.
OK. This is how we started.
The idea was 5 defensive, Mau will have to mark Robert or Steve. We did not expect Vee to start as striker. So, there were some problems with teams strategy after that.
What happened? We manage to get 3 early goals.
1st, clearance from me, not out, Salim collected the ball, dribble past 2 defenders(brilliant job) on the left, pass to Safiq, Safiq finished it.
2nd, a through pass, Safiq finished it.
3rd, another run but this time Salim did it!
After 2nd goal, I went down to the defend more. It was because of the concern about Vee’s threat. He was too free.
Yet, he managed to score after our 3rd goal. Loose marking from me, he was too fast.
Since I went down(to defensive mid), so Mau pushed a bit up. Simple picture is, swap my position and Mau’s.
Then Aeron subbed-in. Another threat from their mid field, now from wing. Hadoi.
Half-time, 3-1.
those in bracket is subbed-in within the 2nd half...
Vee was still the main threat. But……
He had a shot, blocked by keeper, bounced out, Koyot slided to protect the keeper(+ the ball), Vee slided towards keeper to kick the ball into the net. Vee arrived too late that keeper had clutched it into his chest, and he got a big scratch on his chest. Looks like a critical bleeding. Vee red-carded. Keeper however managed to survive.
Then one by one Kelkatu’s player got cramp. Not fit to 80 minutes of play. I started to feel it also.
Mirul out, Aju in.
Then Safiq out cos of cramp also. Mamat in. Mamat+Mohsen in front = not so strong.
Then I really cramped myself. Pudin in.
So Mau back down as def-mid. Pudin play center-mid.. He did well, above our expectation.
But, just as I’m out, they STEAL a goal. Unsporting, but doesn’t matter lah!!
Things went worse when few more players out because of cramp. Oh no!!
Lucky enough they are 10-men, and Vee is not in the game. Fuh.
Safiq got man-of-the-match.

Hum Tum
Time : 12 midnite 2nd April
An old-movie I can say. It was like 5-10 years back maybe. Watched it in TV before. Just once I think. So, kinda remember here and there. Watched it this time without subtitle. So pretend like understand Hindi. Haha.
O well. Sinopsis.
A guy, a player, fell in love with this half-typical Indian girl. Not very typical, but still have the stereotype quality in her. Hmm... The movie was actually a flash back, the guy put his love story in his comic. Anyway. Lets just go following the time frame. Forget bout the flash back.
The guy (Karan) going to US, to study. The girl(Riya) also. Karan saw Reya at airport. Lucky enough, his seat is beside hers. So, he started there.
They had transit at Armsterdam where Karan KISSED Reya which mad her really mad. Karan got a slap anyway. Haha.
Next, they go their own way.
Karan got into relationship with a girl. Then happen to be Reya's best friend. Bla bla bla. Who cares cos Karan is a player anyway. Hehe.
Karan went back India. His mom arrange a wedding (she's a wedding planner anyway). Happen to be it's Reya's wedding. Karan was fine (MAYBE?)...
Karan visit his father in France. Met Reya. Reya's husband died already. She doesnot live in any kind of happiness anymore. Karan tried to bring back the joy into Reya's life. Bla bla bla.
Karan made a trap(like a joke) to Reya in India. But it fired back on Karan. They had fight. Karan sulk. Reya apologise bla bla bla. They made "IT". Karan made stupid decision again after that. Reya ran away.
I forgot how the movie ended. But I think all HIndi movies ended happily. So just assume they got married k. haha.
I don't know why I write this, but I kinda like to make movie review anyway. So, next in the list is Fast Furious 4. When will I watch it? hmmm.... hard to plan anyway.
